Monkey time

I have taken a long break from GW and finally I got myself to start again. It might have been a mistake, because I have lots of school works and other stuff to do.

We also got Xbox 360 to our household! I've been playing Dragon's Dogma (brilliant), little bit of Halo 4 and Gears of war 3.

It's May Day, and I've just been...eating. Thought about spending the rest of the evening with gw or watching something. Not lots of pics to share, as I've been so inactive. But - I tried the epic Adventure Box. It was fun until I got stuck with the frog boss. Will play it more if they will make it playable again.

Dragons and turkeys

I should do gaming-posts more often but I always forgot. Bleh.

My leveling has slowed down a bit because I just moved to a new aparment and didn't have internet for a week, but now I'm back in business! I just LOVE my new Exotic chestarmor piece (the one in the left). Have to gain still some level before I can use the other ones I have (thanks to my kind guild members who gave them - I'm the only one using light armor)

We have also been doing dungeons, mostly Ascalon Catacombs in exploration mode. Pretty difficult but extremely fun! You get Ascalonian Tears from the dungeons which you can change to rare armor/weapons. Gonna collect whole armor set someday! Dragon boss events are also amazing. Little too easy though, not enough challenge at all as you would expect. But they look nice. *drool*

And of course, I've been cooking LOTS. Ah. Just love it. And they made it even easier by making it possible to use materials straight from the bank, not having to put them all in your inventory (eats all my space in a minute).

And here's the beautiful photospam:

Enjoying it

I've had lots of fun with GW2, and I hope it will last as long as possible!

I made Norn Elementalist, my dreamcombo. I love to play as elementalist, dealing area damage and healing others. Leveling is pretty fast, as it doesn't slow down when you go higher. At the moment I'm 33, yay.

There is still problems in the Trading Post, and unfortunately, as we proved yesterday, entering dungeons doesn't work either. You can go in, but your whole party won't. If you're lucky, one or two of your party members end up in the same place and then there is the one who end up alone. This is pretty bad, and I hope it will be fixed soon. Also the WvWvW-battles queues are deathly (and sometimes spells lags like hell). But apart from that, everything has worked fine for me, at least in PvE. And on the sidenote, we are playing in Desolation (among many others).

Some picturespamming about my new armor and some stuff I collected from HoM as a gw1-player. And much more.

Cool elite spell - I'm a wolf!

The prove about "the wurm-killing" in WvWvW. All were here while our lands were counquered. Oh why.

This is why I like WvWvW. All together, now!
Once I was a minotaur. Herpderp
The game felt constantly suggesting that I should make my badass norn look like a princess  as it threw so many pink dyes at me.

Mm those gauntlets ♥ But that dialem..eh
Other cool elite spell!
Still my favourite hobby.

It has began.

Finally! Even though this day was pretty unlucky for me and my head is exploding at the moment too - It's finally here! But now I'm gonna go to sleep and continue tomorrow, argh the ache.

My beautiful norn elementalist ♥

New blog

Only in Finnish, sorry!

Mainostan nyt uutta blogiani hieman täällä;

Exploring sales

I realised it's a good point to make a new blogpost before the next (and last!) GW2 beta weekend starts.

As some of you might be aware, Steam Summer Sale is on! So, I have collected some of the games I have wanted to buy before but have been too stingy.

(Beware for the picture-heavy post)

THE BINDING OF ISAAC

I've been watching my boyfriend playing The Binding Of Isaac many times, but haven't had the guts to play it myself. I finally bought it and I must say it's very entertaining to play. You're a poor boy called Isaac, whose mother gets "order from God" to kill him. So, you escape to the basement and there is all kind of freaky monsters which you fight shooting tears against them. The game is deliciously creepy, but not so scary as my first impression was. I haven't played it through yet, as it's difficult to learn all the monsters behaviour. The dungeons are random, so you can never know what you'll find. You can either find some cool stuff  (lazer or unicorn horn etc.) or only rubbish (pills that make your health go down, for example). There is also many references to meme's and of course, to the Bible.

Magdalene

You have to LEARN to use this weapon or even the 9 hearts won't help you. As it didn't for me.

I kind of feel sad for those things as they run away from you, terrified.

TWO WORLDS II

My beautiful character. Hear the sarcasm in my voice, please.

The other game I bought was Two Worlds II. I wanted a new fantasy game to play with nice graphics and stuff but - I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The plot didn't catch my interest, mostly because it was way too cliché. (And your character is doomed to look ugly manly man, with stupid comments. And of course, all the women wear such tiny armors you can't unsee their boobs. Well, is it a new thing, maybe not.) So it's unneccessary to say that I didn't play it much. I should probably play it more to judge it properly, but I don't know if I have the motivation. Will see.

Wannabe Sauron.

FORTUNE SUMMONERS: SECRET OF THE ELEMENTAL STONE

But for the good news. I bought the Fortune Summoners which is from the same group as Recettear, and _it is_ pretty good. I loved Recettear, and I think the other one will come one of my favourites too. Recettear was about keeping your own shop running, paying rent and exploring dungeons. The Fortune Summoners, however, is quite different. You're a little girl called Arche, and you've moved to a new town with your parents who runs an items shop. You go to magic school, but you don't have an elemental stone you need to do magic.

New dress and the cute puppy ♥

I'm still at the beginning, so the content I've seen is limited to making tasks for your parents shop, meeting a new friend, and searching for your own elemental stone while fighting with your sword mostly against slimes and snakes. There is a good RPG twist in this game which brings it more variety. You can change via characters, so you can be the swordsman or the magician, and I'm sure there will be more characters available later.
"Your armor is nice but kinda revealing"

Now I continue with Arche, until the evening (which I'm pretty excited - the last two races, sylvari and asura will be playable!) comes with the beta.

I'm still horrified about my tacky English, but I'm getting to it...
